Naz Films California Bound :: Palms Springs, California Super 8 Wedding Film

As I pack my super 8 gear for a wedding this week in San Diego, I look back to one particular wedding that last brought me to California. Tina & Brandon first laid eyes on each each other in a Los Angeles court room, both lawyers they found each other! Here is a highlight of their wedding day at the beautiful Colony Palms Hotel, Palms Springs.

What makes this couple extra special to me is how I left Los Angeles. My Bride Tina never got to have her dance with dad who was under the weather on her wedding night. The following morning with everyone on their way back home Tina shared her disappointment how she just wished to have had that night back with her Dad dancing with her. It is every girls hope to have that one dance with their Dad, I get it! My heart is hopeful and with less than 24hrs before my flight I suggested calling her dad to meet us at Santa Monica Pier early the next morning. Before any busker or tourist or crowd father and daughter got to have their dance! It was my personal wish to make that happen – almost at the cost of missing a flight. Seriously, its how I roll.

See you soon California.

  2. Sherri Aldridge – You made buaitufel work of some buaitufel people. I work the the Shafer’s and was a few years behind the bride’s mom in school (she hasn’t changed a bit). Thanks for sharing their special day online. Hopefully the timing brings some special memories to the Shafer’s in their sorrow.
